Bobcat vs Heron on the Flats

While we’re out there poling the flats, we often bare witness to nature’s course and see things the everyday man would not. Just this past weekend Captain Justin Price of RightinSight Charters of Mosquito Lagoon saw something amazing- a bobcat versus a great blue heron in a battle for life and death. Surprisingly, the heron won.

The Mosquito Lagoon is located on a large expanse of protected federal land by the space center and houses many kinds of wildlife.
